Smart Review System is a review-collection product run by an unincorporated business operating as Smart Review System. It lets a business set up a page where customers answer a short set of questions, receive a draft review written from their answers, and choose whether to post it themselves.

The business has not been formally incorporated yet, and these terms will be replaced once it has been. By accessing or using Smart Review System, you agree to use the service in accordance with these Terms.

A business owner’s account is authenticated through Supabase, our authentication provider. The owner is responsible for keeping their sign-in details secure and for anything done through their account.

The business owner controls what their review page asks, how it is worded, which Google listing it points to, and whether a private-feedback option is turned on. The owner is responsible for making sure that configuration is accurate and appropriate for their own business — Smart Review System does not review or approve question wording before it goes live.

You agree not to use Smart Review System to:

• Collect or submit another identifiable person’s personal or sensitive information through a free-text answer without a proper basis for doing so
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service or another business’s data
• Attempt to manipulate the review-drafting system into producing content unrelated to a genuine customer’s own input
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

The review text Smart Review System generates is a draft based on a customer’s own answers — it is offered to the customer to read, edit if they wish, and post in their own words if they choose to. Neither the business nor Smart Review System posts anything to Google on a customer’s behalf; posting, if it happens at all, is something the customer does themselves, through Google’s own interface.

Where a business has turned on private feedback, a customer whose rating falls at or below a threshold the business has set is offered a private feedback form instead of the Google link, though the option to post publicly on Google remains available to them regardless. This is a feature of how the review page is presented to a customer; it is not a statement about, and does not affect, Google’s own policies for reviews on its platform, which the business remains responsible for understanding separately.

A business owner can permanently delete an individual review submission, or all review data for their business, at any time through their dashboard. This is irreversible. It removes the record from Smart Review System only — it has no effect on a review a customer has separately posted to Google, which Smart Review System does not control.

Smart Review System does not currently have a billing or subscription system. Any commercial terms for using the service will be agreed separately and are not covered by these Terms until they exist.

Smart Review System is an early-stage product. Features, including ones described here, may change, be added, or be removed as it develops, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

A business retains ownership of the content it configures — its questions, business details and branding. Customers retain their rights in the content they submit; by submitting it, a customer permits Smart Review System and the relevant business to use that content as necessary to provide the service described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy — including generating and displaying a draft review from it. The Smart Review System product itself — its software, design and the wording of the system that drafts reviews — remains the property of its operator.

These Terms are early-stage product terms written to describe how the service actually works today. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer, and using them is not a substitute for your own legal advice if you need it.

Smart Review System is provided on an “as is” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted, an unincorporated business operating as Smart Review System will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing here is intended to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These Terms do not currently specify a governing law or jurisdiction. This will be added once the business behind Smart Review System has been formally established.

We may update these Terms as the product develops. The date at the top of this page reflects when the current wording took effect.
